"Good morning, Aurora," Lucas greeted, his smile lighting up as he held the car door open for me. The morning sun cast a soft glow on his face, accentuating his toned physique, which seemed more pronounced than usual. "You look particularly fit today. Have you been hitting the gym?"

Sitting on the passenger side, I was thinking, 'He's charming, like raised 200%.'

As he slid into the driver's seat and clicked his seatbelt into place, the confined space of the car became infused with his scent. It was a subtle mixture of his cologne and something undeniably masculine. His presence, combined with his warm smile, left me feeling slightly intoxicated.

"Thanks," he replied, his eyes meeting mine briefly in the rearview mirror. "The two-day holiday gave me nothing to do but train. How about you? I heard you slept for two straight days. Are you feeling okay?"

I shifted uncomfortably, the seatbelt crossing over my chest. "Honestly, I'm not sure what happened to me."
