The sight of Zayden, still naked and seated on the bare floor of his cell had me feeling nauseous. He was in bad shape, his bloody face almost unrecognizable and his body covered in several injuries. His wolf could not heal him because the walls were lined with silver.

He snapped his head up to face me as soon as I was close enough, and I was grateful Draven was standing behind me. Even in this state and locked up in a cell, I was scared he’ll try to attack me.
