I turned around to see who was yelling from behind.

They were Moonhunter's warriors. I had no way to run.

And then I looked at the car again, Kaia had tried to close the door while the car was moving, and Terry was wrapping his arm around her shoulder.

I stared straight at them, I would have been sad about this departure if he wasn't doing all that while looking right at me.
