I sat in front of her, waiting for her to explain the reason for her visit.

"I understand that you don't fully trust me due to my past actions," Evelyn began.

"But I want to make it clear that I have no intention of hurting you again."

"No problem," I replied. "But is that why you came here?"

"No," she answered. "I received a concerning message and thought I should share it with you."

She then showed me the text from Jake, inquiring about the status of the pack. He also mentioned that he was planning an attack with some other pack members and wanted her help.

"That's why I thought I should let you know," she concluded.

"Thank you, Evelyn," I said. "But I need you to do something for me. Can you do it?"

"Yes, of course," she replied. "What do you need me to do?"
