Chapter 31 (A Kiss in the Elevator)

Lyanna's Pov

I hurriedly run out of the living room as I hear a knock. What took him so long though?

"Mom! Take care." I say loudly and then open the door. My smile fades, all the excitement I felt drifting away like a stream.

"Good morning, Ma'am, Drake Shelton asked me to come to fetch you." I nod.

"Anyway, what's wrong with him? Won't he come to school?"

"He will but he's taking care of something important, right? And it won't take long so he will come. Please can we get going!"

"Yeah, sure we can." We sit and he drives off to school. The call pulls over at the car park, immediately I get down, I see Drake walking to take the elevator.

I take my bag, "thank you," I wave at his driver and run following Drake. The elevator door is just about to close and I block it with my hand.

He stares down at me when I get in panting for breath. This man walks so damn fast! He does not stop watching me, there is no humor on his face either.
