CHAPTER 21

Cage smiled at Kyla as she talked about her journey. She wasn't supposed to be here at the moment but without telling them, she shows up at the palace.

He wasn't happy she was taking decisions on her own without informing them. He knew she had overstayed in the camp they had sent her to but it was for a reason.

Brad also thought the same. He couldn't hide the little frown that was forming at the top of his head.

"Your expressions are not welcoming," Kyla grumbled as she glanced at the both of them. They were surprised to see her which she understood.

"That's because we're not expecting you," Cage grumbled.

"Anyways you're here already, let's go in," Brad forced a smile on his face as he invited her into the palace. She smiled at him.

They turned around and met Lara standing in a corner, staring at them with a bewildered expression on her face. Cage raised an eyebrow. She gave them a short nod and walked away.

"Why is a wolf in the palace?" Kyla asked them. They glanced at each
