"Don't talk about him like that," Vivian said. "Please be patient with him. I live in the same city. If you want to hang out, we can hang out whenever you want. I promise. I won't go anywhere else. I'll always be there. Can you promise me that you will be a good boy and will treat your uncle well?"

His eyes were filled with tears, it hurt her to look at him like that. What exactly happened to make him so sad?

"Come here." Vivian opened her arms and waited for Juke to move forward then hugged him tightly. "Everything will be okay, Juke. You're a strong boy, right?" She smiled, wiping his tears. "Come in. I have to go to work now."

"Are you coming home again?" Juke burst into tears.

"Come inside, Juke." Vivian rang the doorbell. Waiting for the door to open, she turned and left, her chest aching.

Before getting into the car, she turned around to look at the entire house. Here, she spent some time with Jaime - those were good days. Thinking back now, she felt like everything was a foggy
