Chapter 115 - Hollyn

I jolted awake. Shivered in the freezing air. Where the heck was I? I raised my head, winced at the pounding.

I lowered it back down to the ground. Floor? I shifted to look to the left. Even the smallest movement unsettled my stomach. But I knew where I was, at least. I would always recognize these boards.

Back in my Village shack. Naked, if the breezes were anything to go by. I waited until I could no longer count the beats of my heart in my eyes before I sat up.

I groaned. Held my head to steady it. My head had never hurt like this. Ever. Before I could think about it, I rolled over to my hands and knees, emptied my stomach onto the floor.

Again, I waited for my eyes to stop throbbing. It felt like they were trying to force themselves from their sockets. Or my brain was. Either way, it felt awful.
