“Your dad is not dead.” The words kept ring in my head, paralysing me momentarily.

I stared wide-eyed at him, not knowing how to react or if I should trust what he said. I saw myself first hand, my dad losing his life and taking his last breath before my eyes.

I watched as his body went limp on the hospital bed, lifeless. And how my mom and I broke down, and rushed to his side, pleading for him to wake up.

I experienced these things, then what is the news that my dad is not dead.

“What do you mean, my dad has been dead for six years? You were at his funeral, remember? Then what are you saying.” I hissed, my voice trembling as I speak.

A jolt of electricity surged through my body as I waited impatiently for him to say he was joking. My heart skipped a beat when he just started at me blankly, his expression saying he's far from joking.
