Chapter 23: Euphoric Feeling

With the flow of time, the clock hits 1 a.m., but Jacob isn't at home yet, which makes her concerned. "It's 1 a.m.; he is not at home." The owners of the house are also not at home as they went to visit their son. "I don't know where he has gone." She can't stop herself from being anxious about him. "Everything happened for me, so I've got to bring him home." Without thinking more, she comes out of the house.

She starts to search for him everywhere outside the house. It's not dark because there's a full moon, so everything is visible; however, her footsteps give her shivers of terror. She is afraid, but her guilt has overpowered her fear. Her efforts are determined to find him, no matter what. "Jacob, are you here? Hey, Jacob, are you listening to me?" She has been calling him several times, but no response has come from anywhere. To search for him on the other side of the area, she commences walking with fast steps because this time the environment is quite shivering. He is her enemy,
