I wanted to say that it's hard to trust him along with everyone else in this building. Everyone was so secretive and dark. The atmosphere just felt murderous. How can you trust that when everything in your gut says not to?

"Why now?" I ask.

"You had some growing up to do before being thrown into our world. You still have maturing to do, but I feel like you grow as you learn, no?" He asked as he wrapped the gauze around my knuckles.

He placed a clip on the gauze, connecting the pieces together. When he was finished, he smiled and gave my knuckles a small pat. "I enjoyed our talk. Let's get you back to Alex before he kills someone," Angelo joked, but I didn't laugh. The only reason why I didn't laugh was because a small part of me actually believed he would.
