CHAPTER 60

What I didn't say was that I never met anyone from my father's side of the family. I've been enclosed in the two-story house that we live in and school. Some days, he'd be gone for weeks.

"I feel dizzy," I said, closing my eyes and leaning against the wall. Alex sat down on the floor right beside me and dragged me onto his lap. I was too tired to protest. It also didn't help that my head couldn't deal with this anymore.

"We have a doctor in the house who can figure out what's wrong," Alex said.

I got up from his lap and walked towards the door, wiping my tears as I did. "Where? I'll go myself," I muttered, crossing my arms over my chest. A sniffle surpassed me as I waited for him.

"Bella, please, I was going to tell you everything after the mall. There's one more thing, though, he's alive, and it's going to be war," he said.
