My gaze was on her retreating back till she was out of sight. I can't believe she left my door wide open and not bothering to close it. I rolled my eyes for the umpteenth time that night, ready to get up and close the door when her face suddenly showed up again. "Oh! I think I'm forgetting something"

"I forgot to tell you to always be a good girl around Mathew and, do not forget what we talked about, okay? Having Mathew as your husband and the father of your unborn kids is the best decision you'll ever take" she advised and left in a swift before I could say anything to her again.

I shook my head, not knowing exactly what my mom is talking about before she showed up again. "Mom!!!" I groaned out angrily, ready to cry if it was possible.
