“And what exactly are you proposing miss Puhvel?” Do not argue about the name.

I reminded myself sternly.

“I feel cooped up in this house. I want to see the city. You did promise me a tour after all.”

“I did? Funny, I don't remember that conversation.” His lips quirked.

I waved his excuse away airily. “It does not matter. I remember enough for the both of us and that's all that matters. Can we go now?” I was jumping at the bit to....do something. Anything. It was a literal itch under my skin.
