Chapter 189

CLAIRE's POV

My head was ringing and it felt like it had been hit by a very large object. The throbbing brought my consciousness back slowly. I cracked my heavy eyelids open and my head seemed to hurt even more.

But that was not the only place that hurt.

My whole body felt broken and in shambles. It felt like I had done some kind of tedious work. My blurry vision cleared after minutes and my eyes was met with an unfamiliar flower patterned ceiling.

Where was I?

I turned to my side and saw a small table. On the table were bottles filled with what I assumed were magic potions. My eyes moved down to my body and I finally realised that I was laying down on a bed.

My memory was hazy, but I tried my best to recall what had happened that eventually led to me being here. I met up with Aunt Axera at the training grounds, met my sparring partner and we began to fight.
