CLAIRE's POV

I sat in the clearing with my aunt Axera, my eyes closed as I tried to concentrate on the training. She was seated in front of me, and we were both meditating, filling up, and honing our mana.

Both Danica and Emmaline, were beside me, going through the same training aunt Axera had given me. We were supposed to be training our powers, But my mind would not stay still. It was occasionally wandering off elsewhere, especially to Dominik.

It had been three days, three painful days since Daniel had left the witch clan. Since I had not heard anything from him, I was constantly in a state of worry and my mind would occasionally ask a bunch of questions. Is he okay? Was he able to free Dominik? Is Dominik alright? Was he hurt?

I could not stop my mind from making a fuzz out of the situation. Waiting to hear from Daniel for three days had been painful and I did not think I could do it for another day.

I let out a sigh and felt an arm on my shoulder. My eyes popped open instantly
