Chapter 12 - The first day of the tournament

Leah’s POV

One woman was a little older than me and the other one was probably a couple of years younger. They didn’t speak until we got upstairs and Carl walked into Eli’s room with us. He was clearly not going to leave his post no matter who told him he had to. It was quickly made very clear by their growls that NO man would be allowed in my room and he rolled his eyes and left. Later that night, as I slipped underneath the covers, I had to admit that it was comforting to know they were standing at the edge of the bed keeping guard. I wondered if they would swap out with others during the next month, but I was so tired that my mind didn’t stay busy for long before I fell asleep.

In the early hours of the morning, I was softly woken by the younger girl. I could smell fresh fruit, bacon, and my all-time favourite meal … Pancakes drenched in syrup!

The older woman explained that I would be having breakfast here in the room in the mornings before each day started. It was all part of the

I think the author of this story should atleast reflects on the comments given to this,,because I also is loosing interest in this...she should have atleast make the female lead a bit more interesting,,like a fighter or more of an aggressive one should I say...I meant no offense okay..
