To be honest, I’d almost forgotten about the human woman who took pictures of Sebastian and his men that night when he found me. At one point, I thought that he wanted to hand her over to the vampires, but he never did and she’d been kept safely locked away since then. The room was lighter than I expected. She had her own bathroom and it was clear that Sebastian made sure she was taken care of. A slight pang of jealousy stabbed into my heart and I stood a little closer to him, making him smile. I could see the girl trying to hide her fear, but it was true what they said about being able to smell it, and it smelled delicious!
