LILY’S POV..

“I wish you would stay."

“But I am here.”

He encircled me tightly with his arms, bringing me closer and inhaling the aroma of my recently shampooed hair. "Forever, not just tonight."

Keeping to his promises, he had loved me all night, marking me with hickeys and kisses, and even after that, after I had thrown on his shirt that reached the middle of my thighs and laid down beside him, he still managed to play with my hair until I fell asleep.

I woke up to find that morning had crept on me, and the side of his bed was empty but still warm.

Shucks, I was so dead. Walking out of his room accompanied by stares and whispers wasn't how I had hoped to start a new week.
