“I like her,” Nikki said as she sat down beside me.

“Athena,” a soft voice called me. I know this voice. I missed the sound of this voice. “Athena,” the voice called out at me with so much care. I slowly opened my eyes and looked up to see my mom smiling down at me. “Mom,” I said, shouting. I sat up to hug her but once I was in a seated position, my mom disappeared. “Athena,” a voice called me. “Dad,” I called out. But received no reply. I stood up and walked in the direction where the voice was coming from. I walked up a snowy hill. The trees disappear and everywhere I look is just white snow. But when I reached the top of the hill I froze. There stood a pure white wolf with crystal blue eyes. I was resting on top of a tree when Nikki, followed by Lisa and Katie showed up. They wanted me to go down and follow them back to the packhouse. “Athena,” Nikki said begging. “I promise to tell you everything I know, right now it is not safe for you to be out here.” “Athena please trust us,” Lisa pleaded. I looked down at them without saying a word. They belong to Purple Hill; how can I trust them? I know that they are my friends and so far both Lisa and Katie have been so good to me. But then I know that they were only doing the job that Drake asked them to do. The first time that I opened my eyes I saw Leon, Calvin, and Nori. All of them were excited to see me, but I was so tired that I found myself drifting back to sleep.
