She was hanging like a disobedient toddler in Ash’s arms while they waited for Dr. Victor to show up. They were talking casually as if she was not being held by Ash like she was in time out. Only Leo would give her the occasional grin and wink.
At first she had been hanging stiffly, but now she just allowed herself to relax back against Ash’s chest, resting the back of her head against his shoulder while she stared at the clouds floating by calmly. That paired with the constant tingles dancing everywhere their bodies touched was so soothing she could almost close her eyes and sleep.
