AVIALANCHÉ: Gratitude

“You look like a mess,” Harvey stated as he stared at Jerson.

Jerson just raised his right brow. “Same goes for you,” he replied and chuckled.

Jerson heaved a sigh. They managed to escape even at the last moment. It was a good thing that Jerson brought his cruiser. If not, it will be hard for them to find a decent taxi to escape the police authority as they chased them in a police car.

“This is where you live?” Jerson asked as he looked around the area.

Harvey nodded. “Obviously,” he replied. He took off his jacket and hung it on a coat rack. “This building is in a secluded area. I’m sure by now, the authorities are checking all the footage to catch us.”

Jerson plopped on the couch. “That's true but since there was no CCTV installed on the street we passed by, we won’t be tracked down,” he said. “By the way, does the Avialanché still need the ledger?”

Harvey tilted his head. “Why? Will you give it to us if I honestly answer your question?”
