“The hunt?” Jerson asked as he put down all the documents on the table.

Noah nodded. He examined the whole room before he turned his laptop on. “Now is the time to reveal the General’s incompetence,” he declared. “Another senate who thirst for power would take him down to gain leverage for his piety. Isn't it fun to watch how your once promised colleagues turned their back on you to gain what they wanted from the start?” he asked. Noah looked at Jerson seriously. “Betrayal is an impending choice and being betrayed is an inevitable fate if, from the very start, the covenant is deficient.”
