The Johnson siblings congregated in Clara’s office upon Jeremy’s request. He wanted to show them something but was being covert about it. He was projecting the contents of his computer onto the large TV, and it intrigued them. Clara and Max were speculating about his presentation when the first pictures popped up, shushing them to pay attention. 

Kids, in all shapes and sizes, varying in ages and conditions. Jeremy converted the negatives they got from the orphanage to a digital file. It took a while for him to sort through the negatives to find Clara’s picture when she was a child. It was like finding a needle in a haystack. Most kids at that age had almost the same length of hair, and they were all frail and scraggly.
