Chapter 26 – Putting on the act

Ezekiel was driving his car fiancee to send her back to the resort after fitting bridal dresses and outfits at their parent's friend's store. He observed how unhappy she was and sighed several times, "Hey, what's your issue this time?" He seeks her attention, and she snubs him; she irritably rests her head against the window.

He takes her hand in his and inquires, "What is it that bothers you? Please inform me."

"Why do you care?" she snarls, releasing his grasp on her hand.

She turns around and walks away from him, pausing as he asks, "Are you still upset because I said something to you?"

She remains quiet, "fine! All gowns that you wore look good on you!" he honestly breathed out. She grins and pretends that she doesn't care; turning into him and walking closer
