Chapter Four

Clearly, they had been unable to wait that long, their lust to take her innocence should not have surprised her but it had, she was very hurt by their betrayal. She stopped and listened carefully all around her was silent and still, all she could hear was her own frantic heart beating. That should have been enough of a warning to her she knew the forest was never completely silent but she was not thinking straight. Looking around she carried on through the trees heading for the road, she had never been this deep in the forest before, but she knew the road led to the city and she could lose herself there.

The Patrol heard her moving through the trees their superior hearing alerting them to where she was heading and they quickly hunted her down. Staying out of sight they watched her waiting to see what she would do.

‘She never comes this far’

Gamma Ryan mind linked the other patrol members,

‘I can smell her fear’

Gamma Jason answered,

‘If those fucking dwarves have touched her the Alpha will tear them apart’

Gamma Will said what they all knew, Damon was very possessive of her.

‘Wait, I can hear them’

Ryan lifted his head and pricked up his ears, his Wolf was deep steel grey and huge as all the Patrollers were,

‘They have discovered she is missing’

Will, a slightly paler grey than Ryan snarled as he heard them too,

‘They are disgusting’

Jason a muddy brown Wolf growled low in his throat,

‘I thought they were her ‘Fathers’

He turned to the other two,

‘The Alpha needs to hear what those perverted little humans plan for his little ‘Princess’ I do not think he will be happy with them’

Ryan's mind linked with the Alpha, his eyes glowed golden as Damon linked to him to listen to what her ‘Fathers’ were saying and all three felt his anger. They were hunting her down, all pretence gone, when they caught her she was going to be locked in a bedroom, naked and they would take turns in raping her. That was to be her life now, they had a special leather harness she would be made to wear so they could chain her to any room in the cottage, it fitted around her waist so would not interfere with their pleasure.

‘Keep her safe. I will join you shortly.’

The three Wolves fanned out keeping Lumi in sight they stayed close and stayed alert the seven men were closing on her. Lumi heard them, her hearing was almost as sharp as the Wolves and she heard their plans for her too she stopped and remained hidden in the foliage of a large tree,

‘I will kill them Tyka’

She whispered softly her beautiful eyes glowing golden without her knowledge, as Tyka came forward,

‘We will kill them Lumi, it is too early but I will not let them take you’

She was concentrating so much on the men she ignored the other strong scents that had set the hairs on the back of her neck standing on end, moving silently she came to a clearing and smiled to herself,

‘This will do nicely’

Tyka nodded her approval,

‘Excellent Lumi’

The girl walked into the centre of the clearing and turned to face the trees head up and totally unafraid she waited. The three Wolves had not expected this and they stopped,

‘Alpha she has stopped in a clearing and if I did not know better I would say she is preparing to fight them’

‘NO!’

His anger made them jump,

‘Protect her with your lives if need be. I am close by so you must try to hold them off until I get there.’

Ryan moved forward and called the other two they blended into the shadows and like Lumi they waited for their prey.

The moon chose that instant to come from behind a cloud and light up the clearing touching the beautiful girl and making her glow like an ethereal spirit and very easy to spot. The men split up to surround her,

‘Well daughter, you have led us on a merry chase’

Doc their natural leader strode into the clearing,

‘Now we are going to take you home and punish your disrespectful behaviour’

She glared at him and sneered,

‘Punish me, ‘Father’? Is that what you call rape these days?’

She saw him flinch at the word,

‘You brought this on yourself Lumi, we have given you every chance to do this the nice way.’

‘You know what is expected of you Lumi, we would have been gentle the first few times, broke you in kindly’

Grumpy smirked,

‘That’s right, we gave you plenty of hints and you chose to ignore them’

Doc took over again,

‘So now we are going to take what you owe us whether you like it or not. From now on your sole purpose is to please us and if you fail you will be severely punished for our pleasure’

‘No, I won’t’

She stood to her full height, her inky black curls tumbled down her back and her blue eyes flashed with anger, she was not tall but she was taller than all seven of them. Tyka growled and came forward quickly ready for the battle ahead and then all hell broke out.

From nowhere, a huge black Wolf leapt in front of her growling fiercely,

‘Let's make this more even shall we?’

It snarled and the men backed off but then a startled screech made them spin around to face three more huge Wolves,

‘Still, fancy your chances?’

The black Wolf padded forward menacingly,

‘We haven’t fed yet’

It growled showing its sharp white fangs,

‘You do not scare us Wolf, we came prepared’

Doc drew a gun and the others all had weapons, they had no idea what they were dealing with, the Pack had remained hidden for decades avoiding all human contact unless absolutely necessary. Human guns and knives would hurt but not kill them and they would heal quickly. The Gammas attacked without warning it appeared to Lumi who did not know about the mind link between Pack members. She would have joined in but Tyka had other ideas,

‘Run Lumi, run, the road is near’

Tyka urged her and she did as she was told turning on her heels she raced through the trees and fell onto the road only avoiding being hit head-on by a car because the driver's quick reactions made him swerve so as not to but he still clipped her.

She woke up in a hospital surrounded by humans and it terrified her, she tried to run but she was attached to machines that made excruciating noises when she moved,

‘Hey, hey calm down its okay no one is going to hurt you’

The man’s voice cut through the cacophony around her and she locked eyes on him,

‘Its okay, it is okay’

He reiterated softly holding out his hand to her, she was cowering in a corner, blood dripping from her arms where she had ripped out the cannulas occidentally in her fear. His voice was soothing so she let him take her hand and help her back onto the bed, he shooed everyone out of the room and gently cleaned her arms putting plasters over the wounds.
