Chapter Seventy

The Teacher said and was not surprised when the little girl huffed and plonked herself down as far away from her cousins as she could,

‘Blame my stupid parents’

She snapped making her cousin's titter knowing such a remark would get the little girl into trouble and sure enough the teacher dragged her to the front of the class and made her hold out her hand. Picking up the ruler he slapped each small palm five times,

‘Do not disrespect your parents’

He scolded looking into the cold, defiant face of the six-year-old, she never said a word, nor did she react to the punishment she completely ignored the teacher for the rest of the day. At tea time she was called into her mother's office,

‘Aurora I would like you to meet your new Nanny, Jenkins’

The older woman looked down at the little Princess and thought to herself,

‘I’ll soon mold you into shape little girl’

Aurora looked at the floor and said nothing,

‘Where are your manners child, how many times do you need to be told you are a Princ
