Chapter Thirty Five

Zella was sitting in the garden of her parent's house, it had been closed since their deaths and she had only opened a few rooms. Later that day she had asked an Estate Agent to call round to put it on the market she did not need a huge 10-bedroom Mansion. It was a warm autumn day, and she was resting in her chair drinking champagne cocktails to numb the pain in her heart. She could not believe Ben had abandoned her again and it hurt, she had cried so many tears she had a headache but she ignored it and carried on drinking she just wanted to get drunk and forget.

The maid came out to announce her visitors and she pushed herself unsteadily to her feet thinking it was the Estate Agent and turned towards them. Her heart stopped as she saw the man she loved smiling at her,

‘Hi beautiful’
