Chapter 50 A forgotten kitten

Third Person's POV

Colton hung his head as he exited the car and entered the pack house. He couldn't even bring himself to lift his head. He definitely didn't want to look another pack member in the eye. He was too ashamed. Too embarrassed of his father's actions.

He slowly climbed the stairs and walked down the hall. Without even thinking, he opened the door and entered his apartment.

Colton dropped his keys in the basket on the table, just right of the door before heading down the hall toward his bedroom.

His heart felt heavy until a certain scent hit his nose. Colton's not sure how in the world he forgot about him, but somehow through all the chaos, he did.

"My baby!" Colton whispered, before racing down the hall. He flung the door open and a little squeak was heard coming from the bed, as Timothy brought his tail in front of his face in defense.

Colton's heart melted the moment he saw that little tail.
