Her eyes were luminous. I could see that Natalia was happy with her new contract additions and I was glad. I hadn't even had her as my slave for 24 hours but she had already figured out a way to renegotiate a contract. She was smart and crafty. I thought I'd had the upper hand in our negotiations yesterday. I was way more experienced in these things, but she had learned quickly then manipulated the situation to get what she wanted. I let her because I wanted those things too. Except the third item, which caused me a bit of pause, but it would change nothing and cost me nothing to indulge her, so I allowed it.

It killed me to see her so mad at me when I walked in. I didn't let it show that her anger bothered me. When she yanked at her collar and ordered me to release her? That was a big hell no. No to releasing her. No to her finding someone else. That was never going to happen. I knew it when I lay on the couch to sleep, only sleep didn't come. I'd left the contract on the count
