Aprils pov
2 days later :
"April! April! Are you even listening to me?" Esmy asks and by the tone of her voice I can tell she's irritated.
"Um.. " I trail off.
"Come on! This is really important I mean I know you're day dreaming about my brother but come on! " She exclaims making me blush.
"For starters, I was not thinking about your brother I just remembered that you have something that belongs to me. " I say honestly.
"What do I have?" She asks while sitting down.
PS. We are in Jasons house right now, I really didn't feel like going out after what happened last time.
"My backpack." I say slowly hoping to the Goddess that she hasn't seen what's inside.
"Right. I've been meaning to ask you about that." She says seriously.
"Did you open it?" I ask fearing the answer.

Aprils POVI feel anger coursing through my veins and the call for blood is so loud that its becoming unbearable for me to ignore it. Aprils pov"We should get going" I say as I step out of his embrace."Of course" He says and begins walking towards the door, before he opens it he turns around and says :"Can I hold your hand?""Aren't we going with your car?" I ask confused."We are but I just really want to, I like the feel of your hands in mine." He says shyly.I feel myself heating up and all I can do is nod as a response.We walk out and I wait for him to lock the door behind me, we then proceed to his car and he opens the front door for me.. Aww how sweet ❤I let go of his hand and take a seat, I watch him walk around the car and get into the driver seat. He then starts up the car and steers the wheel with his right hand while his left hand seeks my hand. He intertwines our fingers together and I can't believe how good this feels.

Aprils POV"They will never take mate away from us." Shadow growls. I know its Shadow in control now because his voice has gone deeper , on top of that I can see claws protruding.Shit! Aprils POVI'm startled awake by a loud scream and I instantly sit up. It takes a minute for me to adjust to my surroundings......I hear the scream again.I'm sure I wasn't the one screaming and that could only mean.... Jasons POVIts been two days since the first note arrived and since then more of them have been delivered to our house.I feel so powerless each and every time I see the notes because my mates life is in danger and I don't know who's trying to kill her...
