To everyone's surprise, Krista shrugged her shoulders as if finding out Jon was in her apartment was not concerning. "I'm glad I'm here with you all rather than at home. The other woman started laughing. She liked Krista's spunk. "I like you," Natalia said as she took a bite of her pizza. Dorian looked between the two women with disbelief. Where did these women come from? He wasn't used to being around strong women who didn't cry when things didn't go their way. Hayden saw the look on his cousin's face and chuckled. "I know I'm safe here, but hearing a direct threat shook me a little," Krista said, still looking at Dorian. He wanted to put an arm around her, but he didn't have the nerve to do it. "We won't let him get near you. At least he doesn't know where you are." Dorian said, trying to calm her. "Can you see where he went after he left my job?" Krista asked, looking back at the screen. Dorian started looking at the cameras again, switching from one camera to the next as Jon walked down the street. The nice thing about New York is that the city has cameras everywhere. Dorian had learned to hack into them long ago and used them many times. Krista was once again impressed by the speed he was able to track Jon. His large fingers flew on the keyboard so fast that sometimes she felt hypnotized. They followed him to a restaurant, where he stopped to get lunch. They saw him waiting to cross the street, and he was in the middle of a crowd when he started to walk in the crosswalk.

"Dorian, are you okay?" Krista asked, looking up at him with concern. He hadn't said anything for a few minutes. He was staring at her as though he was frozen. "What did you say?" He asked, wanting to make sure he heard her correctly. "I said I like you and think we could be great together. Don't worry. I'll give you time to get used to me, and I won't rush you into anything." Krista smiled up at him and saw him look at her in confusion. "Are you messing with me?" He asked with his brows furrowed together. Krista stood on her tiptoes and kissed his cheek. His face immediately turned bright red. "I wouldn't mess with you. You're a nice man, and I'd like to get to know you better," She said. Krista saw his eyes light up, and he broke into a big smile rather than the half smile she'd seen on him before. It made him look even more handsome. "I'd like to get to know you better too. "You think he's going out to find another woman to kill?" Krista asked in disbelief, looking at Natalia with fear in her eyes. "Yes," Natalia answered her. She didn't want to tell Krista he needed someone to take her place since she had gotten away. "Where will he take them? I'm sure he won't go back to the place he had taken me." She felt Dorian take her hand, and she squeezed him in thanks. "It looks like he left your phone in the hotel room, but I'm going to see if we can track him by the cameras. Hayden, are you okay with me slipping Dennis the location of the hotel?" Dorian looked toward his cousin. "Yeah. If Jon feels they are closing in on him, he's bound to make a mistake." Hayden said as he put his arm around Natalia. Dorian took Krista's hand and put it on his arm so he could type with both hands but still have a connection with her. He sent Dennis an anonymous email with Jon's hotel location. He then quickly worked on following him with the cameras. Th

All she could think about was the woman they had seen on camera. Did Jon have her somewhere right now, killing her? Dorian saw the tears on her face, and his heart hurt. He used his thumb and gently wiped them away. He didn't like seeing her cry. "I'll do whatever I can. Don't cry. This isn't your fault. Jon's sick, and he kills because he can. I don't ever want you to think you had anything to do with what he's doing." He put an arm around her and pulled closer. He used his free hand to look at the cameras to try and find where Jon went. His men were also driving around the area looking for them. Dorian had sent them a picture of the woman and how Jon was disguised. His phone started ringing, and he put it on speaker. Dennis and Andy went to the hotel where they had received the tip Jon was staying. They confirmed with the hotel clerk that someone matching Jon's description had checked in and was in the room number they had been given. When no one answered their knock, they used the keycard to open the door and go inside. They were astonished at what greeted them. The room was relatively neat. However, there were about a dozen prosthetic masks on one of the two beds. Jon could change his look from a teenage boy to an old man and even a few women. "I have never seen so many masks before. Dorian had the best sleep he'd had in a very long time. Normally he only took little naps from time to time because he was always glued to his computer.
