I opened the door for Xania and she scowled at me as she got in. I smiled happily as I entered my car from the driver's side and drove us to our destination. I passed the small restaurant that was close to her campus and she pointed to it speaking.
“Why are you passing the restaurant, it’s right there.”
“I never said we’re going to that cube you call a restaurant,” I said and she slightly cocked her head to the side. “What?” I asked, looking at her and she shook her head. “Come on, say it.”
“I was just wondering what happened to that rude Theo, but turns out he is still alive,” she said looking out the window and I smiled.

I watched my sister as she angrily wiped the countertop and whispered to herself, I uncrossed my legs and took a step back. “So what did Travis do this time?” I asked and she stopped wiping and looked at me exasperated with her hands pressed against her waist and her head cocked to the side. After my talk with Cassandra, I was feeling more relieved and I was happy we had reached some kind of common ground which was to actually be nice to each other.
