I stared at Xania as she had just admitted with her own mouth something that I had already figured out in the time we had spent together.
The room had an unbearable silence as we all stared at Xania, she suddenly started chuckling and clapping her hands.
"You guys totally bought that didn't you?" She said and they chuckled along with her.
"Oh my gosh, for a moment I thought what you had just said was the truth," Kim said as she fidgeted in her chair. It was quite clear that everyone else had bought it, except for the people who really knew Xania.
"Same here, that look you had in your eyes was wild," Miranda said as she pointed to her own eyes. "You're really good at convincing people."
"Yeah," Xania dragged her words. "It takes time," she said softly.
"Xania, may I please speak to you privately?" I asked as I got up from my chair, Xania followed suite nodding.
