Kean sat pensively, his black bead fixed on Dean's grave. I was sick of mingling with the crowd; that was before running away from Alex's office. Kendra approached and started chatting again, which seemed abrupt to Kean.

Luckily, he didn't lash out. Or maybe almost, if only the fierce boy, Lexio, had appeared and interrupted him.
