Emma's first appearance in the Dukedom was not as remarkable as the one in the Capital. The Duke had made her stay in the worst residence from the first day, and without letting her rest for more days, he had taken her to the Capital without letting her prepare for the travel.
Many servants of the Dukedom that hadn't received the news from the Capital yet, thought that the new Duchess was unfavored with a status even less than the lowest servant in the Dukedom.
So, even if Emma didn't care about their stupid rumors, she won't tolerate being bullied by a bunch of people that didn't have common sense.
