Chapter 35: The Hell's Gate Annex

We are now both running on the walls when Hannah decided to assist me. The cloaked guy easily got cornered.

I threw my Bandersnatch Short Sword towards him and cut a piece of fabric on his cloak revealing her snow-white skin, and ruby-colored eyes. Her hair was ashen-gray like mine, however hers was braided in a pig-tail.

She had this frantic expression as if our presence here is unwanted. "You looked like…." I said but before I could even figure it out her cloak regenerated and covered her head once again. "Why do I feel like I have met you before?" The girl said, however, not as a question but as a guess.

Her face expressed sincere disgust that her statement seems to be genuine. I had my doubts but this girl certainly knew that something unusual was going on.

"What do you mean…." I asked since I had no idea what she was talking about.

Her face became more confused for a second. "Something about you looks awfully familiar…"

"Uhm… are you referring to me?" I asked to be sure.
