Chapter 35 Infuriating

Flashback of Jag and Randi 2nd/3rd grade. Kids are playing on the playground during recess. Jag being the oldest is always watching out for the other MC kids. His best buddy Sam who is only 4 months younger, does too.

He notices Johnny walking over to Randi. He's seen how Johnny watches her. Him, Sam, and Johnny are in 3rd grade while Randi is in second. He picks on her sometimes and Jag knows it's because Johnny likes Randi, but she doesn't like him back.

He doesn't like how Johnny constantly looks at her. It kind of pisses him off. So, he makes sure to pay special attention to her whenever he's around. They argue and Johnny pushes her down.

Jag walks over to him and punches him knocking him on his butt. Randi is crying because she got dirt on her jeans and scraped her knee in the dirt. Jag offers his hand to help her up. He wipes her tears away with the sleeve of his shirt and gives her a smile.

"It's ok Randi, don't cry. I'll protect you." Jag soothes her. "I won't let anyon
