88- Doggone Wolf

Michael’s POV

The thump of yet another beast falling at my feet was like music to my ears as I swayed in the doorway, stumbling into the icy air of the night.

My claws traced my hair, pushing the moist golden locs out of my face before I dove at one of the deformed monsters.

“Get off him you sick fucks!” I roared, digging my claws into the dirty fur of a monster that had sunk its fangs into one of our guards.

Blood sprayed from the beast’s open neck like a geyser before it fell to the side, dead and I moved to the next, roaring with rage at their audacity.

How many decades had it been since an attack of this magnitude was launched at Gotham?! Decades! The last had seen to the death of my father and mother and I would be damned if I was going to let shit like that happen again.
