CHAPTER TWENTY ONE

I woke up praying and hoping all that happened was a dream but it wasn't. I checked my phone to see if the text disappeared but it was still there. The next thing to do is focus on how to get out of this situation without putting my mum in danger. Currently, I do not have a choice. I'll have to go on with whatever he says and going to the police is a bad idea. I'll be dead in minutes.

I started to prepare for work as I need to resume early today. When I heard my mum talk yesterday evening, I felt relief. She asked if I wanted food but I pretended to be fast asleep.

After I was done dressing up, I moved to the sitting room. As I was about to leave the house, my mum spoke

“Are you sneaking out of the house? Where are you going this early? Have you gotten a job?” She asked

“ Good morning mum, take it easy on me. One at a time please” I said

“ Morning to you too, now talk” she replied looking very serious.
