Mildred, kindly stay out of this. This is my business,” he says as he turns to face her. “Please, go in while I go get your food,” Mrs. Brown says, stopping in front of a door. I raise an eyebrow at her. “This is the dining room; that’s the kitchen,” she points to the last door in the hallway. “Oh, I’ll just grab my breakfast and bring it here,” I suggest. “No, you don’t need to do that. NATALIA I can’t believe a week has already passed since I arrived here. By now, I’m used to the routine; every morning, Nathan and I inspect the houses together. That’s as far as our interactions go.
