Chapter 72 - No Longer Blood

The moment I returned to the stage, desperation clawing at my heart, I reached for the lifeless body on the ground. I grabbed the man with black, tiny, long hair, his face pressed against the floor. Slowly, I turned him to face me, and he groaned in pain.

As his hazed, lifeless eyes met mine, I gasped in horror, "NOAH!!" Tears gushed out of my eyes uncontrollably. "What happened?" I stared at his injured chest and stomach. "Oh! My God." I raised my eyes at Lucian, pleading for help. "Do something, please," I wailed, my voice cracking with despair.

"Ah... At last... I fou—und y--ou," he tried to speak, as blood gushed out of his mouth, but his voice only came as a whisper.

"Say nothing… You're going to be fine," I murmured, my voice shaking with fear as I tried to cover Noah's wounds with my trembling hands. I returned my haunting gaze to Lucian, my eyes pleading for him to understand the urgency. "Please... he is going to die if we leave him like this," I begged, pulling at Lucian's p
