MADELINE'S POV

Hands akimbo coupled with her intimidating physique and imposing aura, Rosaline stood in front of me.

"I confronted Petra about your miscarriage," Rosaline interjected.

I scoffed.

"I never agreed to cooperate with you. Without my cooperation and permission, you have no right to confront Petra about her involvement in my miscarriage. You could be backing up the wrong tree, you know."

Rosaline tutted shallowly.

"I don't need your permission or your cooperation at the very least to confront an impending danger going in the pack. I am having this conversation with you because I want to."

"You are unwilling to cooperate and for the record, I don't back up wrong trees," Rosaline implied confidently. My sources have seen Petra sneak out of the pack at night and return before dawn, not once, not twice."

"I had to confront her to confirm my suspicions and gather evidences swiftly. For now, I think you need to have a major rethink for the love and loyalty you have towards Petra.
