To say that I didn’t know how the rest of the week passed would not be a lie.

Vladimir was as patient as a mother on her child would be. The sleepless nights the man had as he held me in his arms while I sobbed myself to sleep. The way he would try calming me down regardless the number of times I got into fights or arguments with him that I just wanted to be left alone. He wouldn’t let go no matter how much I tried.

But I knew that it was time for me to at least get out of the room. I couldn’t keep myself locked up like some criminal or frightened kitten who was fearing meeting humans for the first time.

I have locked myself in our room since last Wednesday, and today being Monday, I believed that I should at least go and see the family members rather than just locking myself alone.
