Chapter 51:

With grim expressions on their faces, Lucius and Darius entered the chamber. An emergency meeting had been called by their pack and they wondered what it was about. But they couldn't show this on their faces.

They weren't supposed to act weak because they were in their pack, they were after all the Alphas. Any sign of weakness on their part could allow others access to them, thus putting an end to their life.

Everyone rose as they stepped in, and nobody dared sit down until Lucius and Darius had taken their seats.

A cigar was in Lucius' hands. He wasn't paying attention to anyone, they were supposed to be ruthless to command the respect they deserved.

"Who called for this meeting?" Darius growled as he slowly looked at everyone's faces waiting for someone to talk.

"We collectively did summon for this meeting,” one of the men replied.
