Both ladies were startled by Daniel’s voice.
Suddenly Nadia realized, maybe it was not a good idea to have the CEO for a husband.
He’s really scary up close.
Before Celine could leave, she squeezed Celine’s hand for support.
‘Good luck’ she said.
Celine could only nod.
Why does she have to pacify him when he’s in a bad mood?
If he has problems, he shouldn’t take it out on her, right?
She didn’t do anything wrong.
But, she’s just an employee, so she decided to take the high road and be professional.
As soon as she closed the door, she felt two strong arms wrapped around her shoulders and pulled her in.
“You got me so worried” Daniel whispered in between deep breaths.
Ooookay?
Now she’s confused.
What happened?
“Why are you not picking up your phone?” he gently asked.
