CHAPTER 75 – Good Riddance

She wrapped the blanket around her and tried to sniff Daniel’s scent.

Daniel must have felt the same when she packed her bag the last time.

It feels awful, why didn’t he say something then?

How could he not hold a grudge against her?

She let the tears fall again, she doesn’t care anymore if his blanket gets wet with her tears.

Funny, she thought, she has cried more in the last few months of being with Daniel than she cried in her whole lifetime.

She thought she’s detached and unemotional but she’s wrong.

She’s full of emotions exclusively reserved for the right people.

When she realized she’s been crying for an hour, she has accepted maybe Daniel may not go back anymore.

She brought the pillow and the blanket to their room and decided to take a dip in the pool.

At least she could relax in the water.

She has just finished a lap when she felt her eyes sting.
