“You’re not going anywhere.” Jeremy squeezed her fingers gently as if reminding her of his grip.
“Wh… what are you talking about? I just felt crowded, that’s all.” Erika flashed a fake innocent smile, barely realizing her actions of retreating a few steps already. What else could her intentions possibly be if not to escape the depressing air awaiting her in the principal’s office.
