The Truth....
“Jeremy, get your lazy ass out of bed this instance! Are you even my son? Wake up you ungrateful brat!” Thomas yelled angrily, banging his fist against the teen’s door.
Groaning irritable from the lack of sleep, tossing and turning all night wondering how to explain his feelings to Erika, the sudden disturbance only added fuel to his already burning agony. Pulling the sheets over his head, burying himself under the quilts, Jeremy tried to completely ignore the reality of his actions.
After awhile the knocks finally faded, but soon the sound of the door being unlocked with most likely a spare set of keys could be heard, followed by the feeling of cool air upon his shirtless naked upper body as the self-made cocoon covering him was rudely removed.
“Leave me alone…” Jeremy grumbled reaching for a pillow to once again bury his aching head in.
