Elliot POV

It had been a turbulent few weeks since the last attack on our park. Brianna and I found ourselves seated on the veranda of our quarters, bathed in the soft glow of the evening sun. The remnants of that encounter still lingered in the air, and I couldn't help but replay the events in my mind. I decided it was time to talk to Brianna about it.

"Brianna," I began, my voice tinged with a hint of frustration, "we need to discuss what happened during the last attack."

She looked at me with a solemn expression, her eyes mirroring my concern. "I know, Elliot. It was a close call. But Emily and Roman managed to fend off the attackers. We should be grateful for that."

I nodded in agreement, acknowledging the bravery of our Alpha pair. "Yes, they did, but it shouldn't have happened in the first place. Our park was supposed to be safe, and yet, they breached our defenses."
